She has an assessment practice in Sacramento, California (www.spring-psychology.com). One of her specialties is identifying and making educational plans for individuals who have dyscalculia. She was inspired to write this story after being unable to find a book to recommend to her clients. Brennan also has dyscalculia herself and understands first-hand both the challenges and strengths that come with this learning profile. Lisa Hamel, Ed.S.M is an illustrator and Education Specialist who works with children with learning disabilities.
