Jon Atwood is a retired science educator and fantasy author of the first book of the Crystal Thief duology, ""The Rise of the Raven Queen,"" and the forthcoming concluding book, ""The Crystal Curse."" Jon has explored much of nature's wonders and is a gem hunter, both of which are woven into his writing. Jon lives on an old apple orchard at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Washington State.
