Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationTayvia Pierce was born in Southern Alberta, Canada and began writing when she discovered story-based roleplaying games. Her hobby led her to befriend someone who dared her to use her love of storytelling to write a book, putting forth a challenge - he would write one too and the first one to publish would 'win'. This prompted her to finally put pen to paper and begin the process of authorship. His death not long after hit her hard, but another Muse encouraged her to continue her journey. During this time, she worked as a freelance copywriter, writing several children's books as well as ghost-writing eBooks on behalf of a handful of celebrities. In 2018, she returned to Southern Alberta with her two kids. During the pandemic, she supplemented her fiction writing with work as a corporate writer, writing coach, and professional developmental editor.
