Overview

Six cousins are thrown together to spend an overheated summer in Miami Beach. They frolic in the ocean, fly kites on the beach, play tennis, swim and sail and get into trouble--often. One day they spy an ordinary emerald-green beetle. Reality is fractured when they find themselves in a future time but still can smell their grandmother's caramel cookies baking nearby.
