She also worked as an instructor in the equestrian department at an agricultural college, and as a freelance instructor. She was a chief examiner for many years, examining from Stage I throughout to Stage IV and Intermediate Teaching. Due to health reasons she has now retired and remains heavily involved in the equestrian industry through Arabian horse racing, being assistant trainer to her partner who is the trainer and jockey for their horses.
