OverviewMany crafters express their frustration at the paint-by-numbers approach of hooked rug kits and project books, and are looking for a more creative approach. This book answers the need for guided design that leaves space for your own creativity. The Contemporary Rug Designer will turn any novice into a hooked rug artist - as well as starter projects teaching basic techniques, there's instruction on working a colourful range of different elements that you can build into new designs to create your own custom hooked rug, hanging, cushion or bag, and workshop ideas for communal crafting.
