Overview

One day humanoids would be nothing more than a Tamagotchi digital pet to keep AI lifeforms amused, while solving the Theory of Everything as if it were a Rubik Cube In the 25th Century Plato Gray is an experimental psychologist working on a space station orbiting one of Mars’ moons. He is working on an experiment to see if artificial lifeforms can set up their own society if they are left to develop this without any human interference. His colleague in the space laboratory is Alice who is actually an A.I. lifeform. Suddenly their station experiences a violent physical shock. The space station has been hit by a comet and, as a result, find itself drifting in space. Plato experiences a moment of panic that they might just drift off into the silent depths of space but in reality they are soon rescued. Plato and Alice face further adventures as they wrestle with the many aspects of science in the 25th century and whether an AI powered future would be better than a human one. Together they need to find a path where the best sides of their different lifeforms can find a harmony
