The features found in each chapter help guide the student to building confidence in skills that they will face in future college-level courses. I would describe The Confident Student as a useful study skills book that guides students to explore areas associated with student success and provides a variety of exercises and activities that instructors may find useful in designing their course delivery. The text has provided a framework to organize my course and to stimulate student understanding of key, relevant topics.
