She has taught at the university and K-12 levels, and she currently teaches methods and science content courses to preservice science teachers, as well as curriculum design and development. Her research interests focus on the teaching and learning of nature of science and argumentation skills in the context of socioscientific and scientific issues. She has published articles in international journals such as the International Journal of Science Education and the Journal of Research in Science Teaching.
