Author Information

Peter Brooke-Ball became a full-time writer in 1986 and his sporting works have included Factfile Sport and the partwork Winners (biographies of sporting personalities). O. F. Snelling worked in the book trade, eventually as Sale Room Manager of Sotheby's rare book department. On retirement he became House Editor of Boxing Monthly. Derek O'Dell first entered the ring as a young schoolboy fighter. He began reporting boxing in Australia and continued his career as a boxing journalist in Britain.
