Twain Braden is a member of the American Bar Association and has led wilderness trips and sailing adventures throughout northern New England, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Caribbean Sea. He holds a current master mariner's license. Twain is the author of three books about sailing-related topics. He speaks at high schools and universities about navigation and cartography. He lives in Peaks Island, Maine, with his wife, Leah Day, and their four children.Sam Manning is a marine illustrator, craftsman, daily rower, and advocate for the simple life. He is world-renowned for his meticulous maritime illustrations. He lives in Camden, Maine.
