The thing that struck me on receiving this book to review was the quality of the photography. Of course I'm not in any way qualified to say whether or not it's a good book on hairdressing, but I do know quality printing when I see it, and this book is a marvel. It's also very entertaining, too, as we follow a group of young girls on various outings, job interviews, parties, holidays, preparing for weddings etc., and have to get their hair styles to suit their face shapes. A mix of cartoony-type characters and stunning photography make this a must-have for anyone with the slightest interest in hairstyling. Sumptuous.

Charles Worthington owns one of the UK's most respected hair and beauty companies with five world-class salons, a portfolio of award-winning products and many celebrity clients. Twice he has been awarded British Hairdresser of the Year, and in 2006 he was listed in the Queen's Birthday Honours List and awarded an MBE for Services to Hairdressing. His work is widely featured in leading fashion and beauty magazines and on television shows. During the movie award season each year he tends his clients at Cannes, the Golden Globes and the Oscars.
