Author Information

B.S., M.S., & Ph.D at Pennsylvania State University Dr. Steve Newman is an extension specialist and Professor of floriculture at Colorado State University. He was a member of the faculty of Mississippi State University and Colorado State University, as well as serving as greenhouse manager for the Horticulture Department at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Newman was inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture and received the Futura Award from Bedding Plants International. He received his degrees from Montana State University, the University of Nebraska, and Texas A&M University
