Author Information

Kabala was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As a teenager, he was already interested in writing. He wrote short poems at school and also wrote papers for his local music group, but with the passage of time he began to write about global social issues and his environment. However, he quickly lost touch with this passion when he began an engineering degree he completed in South Africa, and worked in a company for 8 years before turning his major focus towards what many call ""the calling"". After observing the world and its human conditions, he concluded that it is not enough to be an engineer if many people in the world live in the gold mines and with the ability to live meaningful lives but die unfulfilled. In particular, the question of how an African can be part of this future, when he considers Africa to be the future of the world, is the biggest question that his generation must answer. Therefore, he enrolled in another course on community development, followed by another on development studies, and participated in various entrepreneurial initiatives throughout the continent, all with the aim of assisting in the construction of strong and prosperous communities in Africa and the diaspora, which will form the basis for a new Africa. Kabala has been actively involved in this work through keynote speeches, book writing and community organizing. He also believes that all people fall into three categories: those who make things happen, those who witness events, and those who are surprised by what happens. His choice is to remain among those who make things happen.
