Reviews

Equally good at derring-do and dialogue... Mosse displays admirable audacity. One of the best thrillers of 2022. The Times--- This is exactly the sort of big, meaty, ambitious thriller that the market needs. I haven't read a book like this since I AM PILGRIM. Anthony Horowitz--- A heart-thumping race against time. Saga Magazine--- A clever, fast-paced thriller with incredible world building... an impressive debut with a cinematic narrative style waiting to be adapted for the screen. The Independent--- Superb - there's an ominous drumbeat throughout, and pace and tension, and a subtle and scarily plausible dystopia - and above all there's main character Alex Lamarque, who could be one of the greats. Greg Mosse writes like John Le Carre's hip grandson. Lee Child--- Absorbing and intricately plotted. The Telegraph--- Fast and absorbing, action-packed and loaded with a dark conspiratorial atmosphere... This is ambitious and inventive storytelling, an impressive debut. Crime Fiction Lover--- An utterly satisfying story set in a forensically detailed dystopic future which is too close for comfort. Lesley Thomson.
