Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Jackie Kyger is a university professor and a retired Coast Guard officer, with much of his career on border initiatives, in the way of search and rescue, law enforcement, counter narcotics trafficking and human smuggling. Chief Warrant Officer Jackie Kyger proudly served at many Coast Guard units along the Texas Border, providing the inspiration for this collection of visual history. He is an alumnus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, holding a Doctorate in Education. He is also a plank-owner of the National Coast Guard Museum and a leading member with the Community of Christ Historic Sites Foundation.
