Overview

Sophia, Leo and Twyla are cousins who are shuffled off to Louisiana the first of summer break by their parents, each for different reasons. Aunt Hattie was an aunt they really didn't know very well at all. She lived in a large home with plenty of room. "Author M. J. Foreman was raised in a southern Indiana town until she was 8 years old. Then her world changed for the next 15 years. She started to travel with her family. Mary's father was an officer in the army. She was thrown into a culture she was not familiar with and at times it could be frustrating. She was subjected to, many different cultures and people and was thrown into a place with no one but her immediate family, no friends, no grandparents, no cousins not anyone. Mary decided to look at everything as an adventure. Like the books she had read. Mary enjoys putting her imagination and adventures on paper.
