Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBrett Haven resides in Fredericksburg Virginia with his wife, Deirdre, and his two dogs - Samson, a French Mastiff, and Ripley, a French Bulldog. Brett and his wife have three grown children, and a beautiful granddaughter who absolutely adores all things furry. Throughout the years, the family has loved and spoiled many different dogs, and those who have passed over the rainbow bridge are terribly missed. Duncan and Fiona, or the Dunc and the Fi, as they are lovingly referred to, were the first two furry members of the family, and what a couple of characters they were.Brett grew up in Massachusetts in the small town of Hopkinton, just 26 miles from Boston. Brett has been an avid dog-lover his entire life, and has very warm memories of the many dogs that lived on Rice Street in the neighborhood where he grew up. Some of the dogs that appear in the Rice Street adventures never actually lived there, but are dogs that have been loved by Brett and Deirdre as adults. To keep their memory alive, they have been woven into the adventures of the Rice Street Crew. Brett has never met a dog he didn't like, and as many of his friends will attest, he probably just tolerates people so he can say ""Hi"" to their dogs.
