She teaches in the Department of Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies at California State University, Los Angeles. Daniel G. Solórzano is professor of social science and comparative education and director of the UCLA Center for Critical Race Studies in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
