Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationFor the last 10 years, Ced has worked passionately as a private chef, traveling and hosting or cooking for some of the most lavish events, superstars, celebrities, business executives, megachurch pastors, and athletes. During the last 4 years, he has cooked for, traveled to, and attended private blockbuster film screenings, hung out on 30-million-dollar movie sets and in exclusive private settings, all while being a chef cooking the right food at the right time. Ced's love for cooking started at age 14, when he worked as a dishwasher at a local Texas restaurant. He earned a B.A. in Hotel Restaurant Management from Huston Tillotson University. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, earned his Culinary Arts Degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta, and for five years worked in some of Atlanta's most exquisite hotels and restaurants. He then wrote, directed, and produced Invisible Kitchen, a feature film about his life as an African American chef, working in European kitchens and pastry shops. The film was released on DVD in 2009. As Chef Cuisine at the premiere French restaurant, South of France, Ced was awarded the Atlanta Most Memorable Meal Award from Atlanta Magazine. Through his awe-inspiring culinary performances for some of the top stars in entertainment, Chef Ced became branded as Ced Sizzle, and in 2019, he changed the bottled water game with his creation, Sizzle's iCed Water, a unique blend of real fresh fruits and herbs, bottled and distributed through a proprietary methodology. Ced's water was an instant success when he introduced his Mango Lemonade (now White Cherry Lemonade) and Strawberry Basil (now Rose Le Diamond) to the cast and crew on a film set. He has since expanded into select elite markets with additional flavors. Ced, his wife, Dollie, of 23 years, and children Kennedy and Cedric, Jr. live in Atlanta, Georgia, as he continues to grow his healthy exotic water business, write, produce, and act in short films and TV pilots, and give back to his community. He has worked with multi-platinum music artist Usher Raymond, and Usher's Camp New Look, which gives youth the chance to explore careers in sports and entertainment and teaches them to leverage their talents and business skills.
