Well written and charming. The Independent His writing is calm, measured, gently ruminative but always very well-informed. A measured pace and whimsical eye. Reminiscent of the early books by James Herriot. Foodepedia Utterly absorbing. Fresh Magazine This title could do for cheese what Kevin McCloud has done for adventurous architecture. Restaurant Guide.com A vivid insight. The Oxford Times A treasure trove of information. A really excellent read. Claire Hogg This book should have wide appeal. A volume that informs and charms.
