Overview

There is a charm about the creation story. Creation was the work of a charming Creator Who later became a man in order to die for the humans He created. It is the author's hope and prayer that he has been able to reveal a little of this charm for others to enjoy. Written mostly in first person, the book is written by a teacher who has taught the creation story to many people. On this warm August day in 2009, we are ten years older than when I wrote the original radio lectures which constitute this book. The facts of creation never change. There are four booklets included in this study: creation as revealed in conscience, Psalms, miracles, and the New Testament. The writer is not a scholar or scientist, simply a man talking informally about what he has learned from learned men. Hundreds of books have been written about creation, both pro and con. Why write another? Well, all I can say is that I have not written one until now, so here it is. Enjoy.

Author Information

Joseph Kennedy has lived a long, varied life. From a school teacher to truck driver; from California to Siberia, he has walked with God most of the way. Saved at age seven, Christ turned his life from a budding sadist and pathological liar to a gentle person who loves the truth. Telling a lie or half-truth, or propagating a lie is completely foreign to his character. His writing career began when he was in the fourth grade at Anderson Street school in Bristol, Tennessee. He started into college as a journalism student, but he soon dropped out of school. He was a married man with three little sons when he went to Tennessee Temple University in 1966. He wrote many editorials and essays during that time, and school handbooks. In 1980 Kennedy was fired for teaching Bible to his students. Unable to obtain a suitable job in education, he went to work driving big, over-the-road trucks until retirement in 1992. He went to Latvia where he taught Bible and creation in a Russian high school. It was here he wrote a booklet on Bible doctrines for the local missionary, a book that was translated into Russian, but never used. He came to love the Russian people, so he began to plan to go to real Russia. After studying maps of Russia for months, he decided to go to Tomsk in Siberia. Tomsk is the most northerly large city in Siberia. In Tomsk he taught Bible and creation at Tomsk State University, a school for training teachers. Russian students and staff were astonished to learn that there is a God, and that God created the universe. They were also surprised to learn that Japan was not begging to surrender when we dropped the atomic bomb on them. After five years of creation evangelism in America, Kennedy began writing seriously, and twenty booklets and four novels were published by him in his print shop and study. Then three historical novels, and a poem book came forth. Two books on Genesis 1-11 were fabricated from six booklet he had written. He self-published these books on CreateSpace. At this moment he has uploaded the first proof of Hebrews to CreateSpace. This book is a collection of the five booklets on Hebrews that he had already written and published in his study. He also has a poem book published on CreateSpace. Kennedy will hastily refund anybody's money if they buy a book they don't like. Kennedy also maintains a web site entitled JosephsAlabasterBox.com. This site draws an average of 8.5 visitors per day.
