Before focusing on his private practice in 2012, he was a full-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania and taught in the Psychology Department at Haverford College. He received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and is the author of multiple books on mindfulness and CBT and the host of the Think Act Be podcast. He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Patrick Lawlor has recorded over three hundred audiobooks in just about every genre. He has been an Audie Award finalist several times and has received several AudioFile Earphones Awards. He has won a Publishers Weekly Listen-Up Award, numerous Library Journal and Kirkus starred audio reviews, and multiple Editors' Picks, Top 10, and Year's Best lists.
