Elizabeth Downey is a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and the author of, The Cat Who Came to Dinner: A True Rags to Riches Story. Having worked in the nonprofit sector since 1967, Liz is passionate about giving back to the community and the world around her. These days, she prefers to do this through writing and publishing feel-good essays about her unexpected encounters with animals.
