Overview

Missy Barrett's mom has a friend with a mystery on her hands that needs Missy's detectiving skills and unfailing sense of attention to detail. Missy is charged with finding the perfect piano mentioned in romantic letters from more than a hundred years ago. Between the Straw Hat riots in New York City and the World Series of 1922, a brand new big name piano seems to have found its way into East Tennessee. The problem is no one remembers having ever seen or heard of anything as spectacular and unique as a sterling silver piano. Was the letter writer telling the truth about the surprise he was bringing back to East Tennessee with him, or was he merely teasing his sweetheart? It's up to Missy Barrett to unravel the clues and find out what happened to the perfect piano.
