Overview

A mysterious death. A troubling promise. When an eccentric scholar is mauled by a crocodile in the Fayoum, Sir Augustus Wall, antiquities dealer and amateur sleuth, immediately suspects foul play. There haven't been crocodiles in the lake for a generation.
