Overview

Five hundred years after a great civil war that pitted the Magi, demi-gods of great power, against the First and Second Born, their human-Magi offspring, civilization has crumbled into warring city-states and barbarism, and the Magi are dead or in hiding. Far to the north, a powerful demon falls through the void between realities to crash to earth. Its goal: enslave or kill the remaining Magi. Meanwhile, in a peaceful valley hidden from the world, an old man cannot remember his past, but his memories and powers are slowly being awakened.
