Author Information

Colin Holcombe started an apprenticeship as and Antique Restorer and Conservator at the age of fifteen with Hall and Rohan. After working with an Italian restorer for nine years he went into business for himself. One of his first commissions was to restore all the furniture at Harvey's Wine Museum in Bristol after they suffered a bad flood. Now retired, he has time to put his knowledge into print so that others may benefit.
