After reading the last two pages all I could think was I cannot wait to read The Commander. Alison Bird, Early Bird Co, LLC

Author Information

Leslie Peppers is known for being an artist. She was a child prodigy at the age of four and over time she quietly made her way through the art world into galleries and notable private collections around the world. Yet along the way she had a secret; at the age of seven she began writing short stories and in her teens she began writing poetry, also a secret. This changed in May of 2015 when she went public online at vimeo with ""Coincidence or Fate?"", the true story about her involvement with the SARS epidemic of 2003. The author used her artistic skills to make the very short story into a video with pages that turn themselves as a gift to the public. Apparently writing was in the back of her mind as she continued to create artworks, because a few months after releasing the short story she had an idea for a novel. Focused on being an artist she did not want to commit to a project that would occupy the majority of her time. Then one day the desire to tell the story overtook her. As she began to write the outline she realized it was going to take more than one book to tell. And without hesitating she dived into ""The Lyons Saga"" and found the water was warm.
