Reviews

A unique, highly original crime thriller with nuanced characters and a page-turning plot ... written with emotion and literary skill while remaining true to its crime roots. The ending is a triumph Cass Moriarty, author of The Promise Seed An exceptional debut crime thriller from Elise Janes. Gobsmackingly good KD Aldyn, author of Sister Butcher Sister I was so intrigued with this premise and haunted by how easily this could be true. It offered a twist I didn't see coming happyvalley_booksread The story is gruesome, twisty and full of surprises. An absolute page-turner and a must-read for crime fiction fans! Sublimely different to any other crime novel I've read. Could not put it down. Great classic crime novel set in Melbourne (at last!)
