Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAnne-Marie O’Dwyer is a clinical professor at Trinity College, Dublin, and a psychologist with almost four decades of clinical experience. She has worked at the Maudsley and Addenbrooke's Hospital and long-term at Trinity College and St James’ Hospital in Dublin. O’Dwyer spent more than half of her career working directly with patients who have cancer and wrote the textbook on the psychology of cancer for Oxford University Press. In 2004, together with clinical psychologist colleague, Dr. Sonya Collier, she founded the first dedicated Psycho-Oncology service in Ireland, developing a blueprint for psycho-oncology services nationally (National Cancer Strategy, Ireland 2017).
