Elaine Treharne is Roberta Bowman Denning Professor of Humanities, Professor of English, and Robert K. Packard University Fellow in Undergraduate Education at Stanford University, California, and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, the Royal Historical Society, and the English Association.
