Non stop action from the first to last page!! Alex and Sam manage to survive by their pure wits and survival skills. Pursuers are relentless. This is an excellent read which I highly recommend for readers of all ages!! A surprise ending, which I will not divulge. Enjoyed immensely!!! - Amazon Reviewer I LOVED that the plot was based on the High Priest Caiaphas. This topic was interesting and well researched. I was hooked on the story right from the beginning.Caiaphas was a High Priest from the New Testament. Because of that fact, there was religiousness to this story with the characters being at different levels of belief. Nothing was preachy or judgemental. Nothing was geared to one denomination. This was excellently done. This mystery was fast paced and the author's writing style puts you right in the middle of the scenery and action. I could imagine myself in historic Israel. I was surprised by the ending to this story. It was unexpected and I like surprises. It is great that an author is willing to write clean stories these days. I really enjoyed this adventure! I can't wait to read another Alex Hunt mystery. If you like to read about archeology, history, mystery, and adventure, you will enjoy this novel.
