Overview

A woman's body is found over a year after she went missing. DI Pat Nottage, fresh from solving her first murder, takes on the case. By chance, she discovers a pattern of death by accident in a small church group previously attended by the victim, a dynamic group exploring the history of Christianity. Pat is puzzled when the investigations progress is slower than expected. Apart from work, Pat is enjoying a growing relationship with her newly found biker friends and finds a new life as she is drawn into love. Intrigue is heightened when the newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner, (a disgraced member of Parliament), introduces himself, and she later finds that the motives of his election are not as honest as he has led people to believe.
