Moving with her geologist/professor husband, she continued writing them in Madison, Wisconsin, summers in Maine and finally as a resident of Maine where she was the Head Teacher of the Child Study Center at the University of Maine for 20 years. She continues writing Wallaboo stories as a retired teacher in Fort Myers, Florida. Barbara is also a scan artist and the creator of NatureScan.
