Author Information

Anneka Champion's early career included stints as an actor and a lawyer (BA LLB Hons University of Sydney). She is also an alumnus of NIDA in playwriting. Combining these diverse skills, Anneka worked for many years as a freelance writer in marketing and adult education, and as a facilitator in change management. Her vocation is to communicate complex ideas through simple, accessible narratives. She is especially passionate about providing children with the tools to thrive in today's complex social environment. Anneka lives in Sydney with her family which includes a much-loved whippet. Evelyn M. Field OAM, FAPS is a psychologist, professional speaker, best-selling author and regular media commentator. She has spent more than four decades helping students and adults develop social survival skills to manage bullying in schools and the workplace. She was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for her initiatives in school and workplace bullying. Some of her inspiration comes from studying how animals survive socially and the recent evidence around bullying and brain trauma. As well as treating targets, she provides training for therapists, schools, organisations and participates in cruise enrichment programs.
