The best thing about sewing with Debbie Shore is that she makes things so easy. From beginner to advanced skill levels, every stitcher can enjoy these books and create something wonderful. The projects are beautifully photographed, and the instructions have a stunning visual and written step by step guide. Techniques, tips and what to do if things go wrong are included and the whole process from start to finish is jargon free. This makes it easy to understand and you know exactly what to do without the aid of other explanations. The Plastic Pattern is brilliant, and the instructions colour code the pattern piece you need. Each Backpack is beautifully designed and really are fit for purpose. Each one is different, and have a unique and stylish look. Clear instructions for the basics such as making a zip panel , for the individual patterns, and even help with things that can go wrong (oops! section). I especially love the plastic templates. Author Information

Debbie Shore is a bestselling and award-winning author and all-round sewing superstar. She began her career as a children's television presenter and since then has appeared regularly as an actress in various popular dramas and as a presenter on shopping channels. Debbie has also hosted live fashion shows for a major clothing brand, developed her own range of fabrics and writes for several popular sewing magazines. Debbie has written over 20 books for Search Press with several more underway. In 2018, Debbie launched her Half Yard Sewing Club, a monthly subscription service based on the megaselling Half Yard™ series, and won the 2019 IPG Digital Publishing Award.
