Bruce Chilton is Bernard Iddings Bell Professor of Religion at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York and Rector of the Church of St John the Evangelist. Jacob Neusner is research Professor of Religion and Theology and Senior Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Theology at Bard College. The most prolific scholar of his generation, he is author of over 500 books, including Classics of Judaism.
