Reviews

It's like being given a brilliant new set of eyes: seeing the familiar afresh. -- Adrian Scarborough, actor, 'Pete' in Gavin and Stacey Bristol and Bath in a beautiful book Picturesque studies of both vista and nook. I played in their theatres on many a night. These page turning fancies of artistic high flight And stunning renditions of colour and light Believe me when I tell you, as tell you I do This book that you're holding, it's well worth a look. -- Jeremy Irons, Oscar-winning actor All my influential memories are Bristol/Bath, from Rock & Roll at the Colston Hall to a season ticket to Bristol Old Vic. -- Nick Brimble, actor, 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves', 'Grantchester' I was brought up in Bristol and Bath and fell in love with the architecture and the hidden treasures in both cities. A great idea for a book. -- Stephanie Cole, actress, 'Tenko', 'Keeping Mum', 'Coronation Street' Fresh, invigorating and inspiring. -- Sir Tony Robinson, author, actor and presenter of Time Team, 'Baldrick' in Blackadder Truly stunning pictures of two of our most beautiful cities. -- Mark Strong, actor, '1917', 'Sherlock Holmes', 'Our Friends in the North' Wonderfully unique and vivid studies of my vibrant hometown Bristol and its elegant neighbour Bath. -- Stephen Merchant, comedian, actor, TV presenter, director and writer The creativity and skill of the artists in this book are both astonishing and inspirational. -- Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, writers and actors of 'This Country' Fantastic images of two splendid cities. -- Dame Jacqueline Wilson, award-winning writer, 'Tracy Beaker', 'Hetty Feather'
