Author Information

Demi is the founder of Bright Girl Health, a women's health educator and a passionate high school teacher. She believes that girls should never feel left in the dark about their own body. After completing her Master's of Secondary teaching, Demi taught in many schools, working with students and discovering a need for further education in the area of menstrual health. In 2017, Demi developed the Bright Girl Health school programs that aim to take the fear out of periods and teach girls to understand the menstrual cycle in order to make the best health decisions possible. Demi has a unique way of communicating to young people to help them engage with and understand content. Demi has worked closely with and has been mentored by Chinese medicine doctor and women's health expert, Nat Kringoudis, who helped consult in the writing of this book. Demi's goal is to break through the silence when it comes to discussing women's health. Nat Kringoudis is a doctor of Chinese medicine and acupuncture, author, speaker and all-round natural fertility expert. She is also the founder of Melbourne women's health clinic, The Pagoda Tree, creator of Yo'Nuts and producer of HealthTalks TV. It is her mission to educate and empower women to get clued up on their body and take control of their hormone health.
