Lori Jakiela is the author of the memoir MISS NEW YORK HAS EVERYTHING (Hatchette, 2006), and a book of poems -- SPOT THE TERRORIST! (Turning Point, 2012). Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and more. She teaches in the writing programs at Chatham University and The University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg and is co-director of the summer writers festival at Chautauqua Institution.
