Author Information

As a lifetime diarist, CoCo Harris is drawn to personal narratives. For years she has guided others with crafting personal narratives through creative writing workshops and various memoir projects and publications. CoCo Harris is constantly exploring the notion of how we tell the stories of our lives with both fiction and nonfiction. Her story began in Atlanta, GA, and has traversed the Washington DC Metro area; Nigeria, West Africa: Seattle, WA; Louisville, KY; The Coast of Georgia; and Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley. Though she now lives in central PA, CoCo is particularly at home anywhere sun and surf meet. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Writing in Fiction from Spalding University, and is a Zora Neale Hurston/Richard Wright Foundation alumna. CoCo is the Founding Editor of Telling Our Stories Press.
