Overview

Hosea was ordered by God to take a wife from whoredom in Hosea 1:2 and told to have children with her. God even gave him directives on what to name the children and what each name was going to be a representation of concerning Israel. I am starting out with this story because for us to be the bride God desires for us to be then we must repent for being the harlot first. I know those are harsh words, but they must be said. In today's society of tiptoeing around people so as to not hurt their feeling or offend them, we must remember that the world does not represent God's view. What God sees in the members of what He called His bride is what He explained to Hosea in detail.
