Author: Louise Stott lives in a small village in Kent with her husband and two children. Horses were a big part of Louise's childhood. She had her own pony that she kept at the local riding stables. Louise has many happy memories of going to shows, gymkhanas and spending the whole summer holidays down at the stable yard. Louise's daughter, Lottie, has followed in her mother's footsteps and now has a horse at the local stables yard. Hearing the things Lottie gets up to down the stables, inspires Louise to create a series of books about the life at the stable yard, through a young girls eyes.
