Overview

The Boy with the Mismatched Smile; is a tale of a boy named Lenny whose face becomes stuck after moping around all day the day before. The story includes rich vocabulary and is a great tool to start a discussion with children about emotions. I hope you enjoy reading Lenny's story with your youngsters. This book is great for read-aloud activities and for parents or older siblings to read to young children.

Author Information

My name is Kyiona Carswell from Newark New Jersey; The Boy with The Mismatched Smile is one of many books to come. Working as a teacher of young children, I noticed the problems in which they encounter and often times, they need support in figuring out how to solve them. In the story Lenny is a child that encounters many problems throughout the day and realizes in the end he should have never allowed them to ruin his day. The story models great problem solving skills and is a humorous approach to teaching children about emotions. I hope you and your children enjoy reading about how Lenny solves his problem.
