It also talks about investments, savings, debt, and credit cards. It has great tips to talk to kids about this topic. In certain aspects, I believe the book goes beyond what is needed for teaching kids financial acumen, covering things like 529 accounts and others. Anyway, it is a good reference guide for parents trying to teach kids about personal finance. Perhaps those days, there was a lack of how-to resources, or parents didn't feel the need to discuss finance with kids. However, times have changed, and the sooner we discuss finance with kids, the better. This book is an excellent resource for both parents and kids. We work hard to earn and save money, and it's essential we instill the same habits in our kids early on.
