""The Bone Orchard of Broken Dreams"" is a supernatural Western horror story set in 1878 New Mexico Territory. Clementine Hayes, a half-Apache bounty hunter with mysterious abilities, is hired by the charismatic Reverend Elijah Crowe to protect a wagon train of desperate families seeking a promised valley where they can start new lives. When the group encounters terrifying bone-white creatures and witnesses people being drained of their life force by the cursed land itself, Clem realizes that Crowe is not what he seems, and that the ""promised land"" he's leading them to harbors an ancient and malevolent hunger. As supernatural horrors escalate and people begin dying in grotesque ways, Clem must confront both her own mixed heritage and the dark truth about Crowe's true nature and intentions. With the help of Little Crow, a young Apache boy who understands the old warnings about cursed places, she discovers that the land itself has been corrupted by generations of broken promises and betrayals inflicted upon Native peoples. The survivors find themselves trapped between their false prophet's deadly deception and an entity that feeds on unfulfilled promises, forcing Clem to embrace her grandmother's Apache traditions and make an ultimate sacrifice to protect the innocent families who trusted the wrong guide in their search for hope.
