Overview

This book came into being because of this small miracle which happened one Christmas Eve. Though it is a small miracle it needed to be documented as is the case with any miracle. Miracles are occasions for wonder and we all need more wonder in our lives. In fact, we need all the wonder we can get.

Author Information

Allie Hardwick is 86 years old now, but she wrote this story after it happened in 1970. She is a PK and a native Texan but has not lived there since 1953. She graduated from SMU in Dallas, Texas, in 1959 with a degree in fine arts. She went on to do graduate work in Art of the Church at Drew University in New Jersey. And her career was, wonderfully, at the Field School, a college preparatory school in Washington, D.C ., where she taught art history to grades 6 - 12 and eventually became the assistant director. Silas Koyama is a Freshman at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. He is 18 and has been gifted with a flawless sense of design and an ever-abiding sense of humor. In his illustrations he is depicting his uncle, mother, and grandmother. He is Allie Hardwick's grandson. He loves his classes and at this point doesn't have a major.
