I am a business owner, cattle farmer, loving wife, Mother and now with the help of our five beautiful children, a writer. Before all these roles, I was an Early Childhood Educator with a passion to educate children through play and real-life experiences.I thrive on chaos and love using my everyday life to bring a sense of adventure, encouragement and wonder into my story telling. Our children play a huge part when bringing these moments to life, helping with retell, rhyming and even expressing themselves through the illustration process. Creating stories that are engaging for a range of young readers. I believe in the importance of reading at a young age. It builds essential foundational skills, including language acquisition, cognitive development and emotional intelligence. Strengthening brain development, vocabulary and concentration. Although for me, it's the fostering of a strong, secure bond between child and caregiver, along with igniting a child's imagination that captures my spark for writing and storytelling the most. Franco Caro is a professional illustrator from Chile who specializes in children's books and narrative illustration.
