Johnny Parker II is a comic/manga creator, teacher, and podcaster originally from Detroit, Michigan. Over the past 10 years, he's written entertaining and engaging stories that challenge the norm by including diverse characters and storylines relevant to modern struggles. Many of the comics he's written are inspired by his loves for 90s cartoons, comics, anime/manga, wrestling, and most importantly, the need he sees for representation. Recently, he's begun releasing his own comics curriculum, with common core aligned lessons and activities.
